Somerset Conservatives: Securing Britain's future

Serving Somerset residents is our number one priority at both local and national levels.

There are five parliamentary constituencies in the county. Four of these currently have Liberal Democrat MPs, and one has a Conservative MP, Ian Liddell-Grainger. Our prospective MPs are David Warburton in Somerton & Frome, Rebecca Pow in Taunton Deane, James Heappey in Wells and Marcus Fysh in Yeovil.

As well as electing Members of Parliament, Somerset will also be electing District and Borough Councillors in May 2015. The Conservatives are the leading party in local government in the county, running Mendip, Sedgemoor, Taunton Deane, and West Somerset local authorities, as well as the County Council. The Conservative Party relies on support from individuals giving up their time and donating money to help get Conservative councillors and MPs elected. Click here to find out how you can help locally, or browse our list of social events.
