MISSED EDUCATION TARGETS - Letter (24/01/05)

Dear Sir,

I am prompted to write to you about your large picture in a recent paper* headed "Lib Dems education authority is "a flagship". You should have added lots of ??? after the headline !

Somerset Education department missed 11 of its 12 government targets last year and one of my local schools (Cossington) received the worst OFSTED report I have ever read. If this is indeed a "flagship" then all the other Lib Dem controlled Councils will surely sink without trace in the May Elections.
