CONSERVATIVES CELEBRATE BROADBAND LINKS IN WEST SOMERSET (22/11/05)
The last areas of Somerset without access to Broadband are now to be linked – at last!
County Councillor John Edney says “We have been pushing hard for over five years now to bring broadband to all the people of Somerset. The Administration at County Hall were not able to get this in place fast enough for our liking. But we have pushed and pushed and now, at last, with the Regional Development Agency’s support, BT are bringing broadband to the last few areas next February, which is great news for local residents and businesses.”
By logging on to BT’s website (www.bt.com) local residents can find out when they will be able to access broadband.
