TORIES CONGRATULATE DUNSTER SCHOOL (08/07/02)
Dunster First School has been showered with praise in an OFSTED report. It was particularly praised for the progress made since the last inspection in 1997.The report said, ‘The school is well managed and the headteacher and his deputy work together to provide excellent leadership. They are very well supported by the teachers, governors and parents.’
Dunster’s Conservative County Councillor, Christine Lawrence, congratulates those who worked so hard to achieve this superb OFSTEAD report.
She commented, ‘This is excellent news for an excellent school. I am delighted with this report and congratulate the team at Dunster First School. This is a direct reflection of their dedicated work.
‘It is the tireless commitment of Dunster First’s staff that has lead to this glowing report. The hard work of teachers and support staff is often overlooked. I am delighted that their efforts have been acknowledged.
